Complaint against an RCIC or RISIA

Report an Unauthorized Practitioner

Any immigration consultant who provides Canadian immigration or citizenship services, whether domestically or abroad, must be licensed by the College. The College ensures that these licensees comply with a Code of Professional Conduct by holding them accountable for breaches of the Code.

The College has the authority to regulate and discipline immigration consultants who are authorized to practise.

To verify if your immigration consultant is licensed, look them up in our Public Register HERE.

Unauthorized providers of immigration services (unauthorized practitioners [UAPs]) are not regulated.

The College Act gives the College, in certain situations, the power to stop the activities of UAPs.

If your complaint is about a UAP, the College will respond to let you know what can be done to limit their activities.
